On 3 August 2026, Eyebright Medical (688050.SH) and CooperVision announced that they have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement.

The collaboration aligns with the “National Health ‘14th Five-Year Plan’ (2026–2030)” and targets improved balance and accessibility in health services. It addresses key industry challenges including inventory pressure in traditional optometry retail, limited digital capabilities, and insufficient high-quality product supply. Through deep coordination of supply-chain resources between Chinese and foreign partners, the parties aim to build a “brand direct supply + on-demand retail operations” channel model to support standardized, high-quality digital development in the contact lens sector.

Representatives from both companies attended the ceremony, including Dr. Xie Jiangbing (Chairman of Eyebright Medical), James Mounter (APAC Sales Vice President of CooperVision), and Chen Xiaofeng (General Manager, China, of CooperVision), along with relevant personnel from Meituan’s pharmaceutical retail business and industry media.

At the event, CooperVision presented brand authorization plaques to Eyebright Medical’s subsidiaries, further strengthening channel collaboration. Going forward, the partners will focus on three objectives: “multiple products, strong coverage, and expanding distribution for the Toric segment.” Leveraging CooperVision’s full-cycle eye health portfolio and Eyebright Medical’s on-demand retail network, they will integrate online and offline service workflows, support store onboarding and shelf placement, and accelerate market expansion.
