As the new school year approaches, Eyebright Medical has hold its 2026 B Back-to-School Eye Care First Lesson event n August 21 at the JD Group headquarters in Beijing. The youth myopia prevention and eye-care science public welfare event attracted active participation from JD employees.

Aligned with the national strategy for myopia prevention and control, the event addressed parents’key concerns such as early onset and rapid progression. It combined authoritative science communication with engaging interactive activities to strengthen families’ science-based eye-care awareness and support a proactive approach to myopia prevention.

Invited ophthalmology experts, including Professor Yu Jifeng from the National Center for Children’s Medical Center and Beijing Children’s Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, delivered a lecture on myopia causes, prevention strategies, scientific correction, and integrated management, supported by clinical cases and evidence-based research. Following this, Eyebright Medical’s R&D engineer led a themed sharing session and guided parent-child groups in fun scientific experiments linking optical principles with eye-care knowledge.

On the event day, Eyebright Medical also provided JD employees with education on scientific contact lens fitting and standardized wearing practices, highlighting the safety and professionalism of its medical-grade products.

Eyebright Medical continues to advance corporate social responsibility through science public welfare initiatives launched every back-to-school season. In June this year, Eyebright Medical and JD Health entered into a strategic partnership to collaborate on myopia prevention, vision care, and sports health, improving access to quality medical products and supporting high-quality industry development.
